Obituary of Michael Shestopal Jr.

Michael Shestopal Jr. (11/5/1939-11/25/2023) was born in Salem, MA and was proceeded in death by his parents, Michael Sr. and Florence (nee LaFreniere). Mike grew up in Peabody, MA joining the Air Force after graduating from high school. His travels with the Air Force took him to the island of Okinawa where he met his love, Tomi. They married June 28, 1962 and had three children. After retiring from the Air Force in 1981, he started his second career at Boeing. He was always very proud of the fact that he was able to retire again at the young age of 55 in 1994. In earlier times he enjoyed fishing and later traveling and yearly camping trips with his kids and grand kids. He especially adored his grand kids. They lit up his life and he was so proud of them.  He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Tomi. Three kids Tanya (Scott), Naomi, Mike (Tory), seven grand children, Kiersten, Zachary, Mikayla, Riley, Ryan, Nicholas, Carli and two great grand kids, Wyatt and Waylon.  We love you Dad.
