Obituary of Erle H Dammann

Erle Dammann passed away peacefully on October 18, 2023 just 10 days before his 95th birthday.  He will be remembered with love and greatly missed by his family.

Erle grew up in a logging camp in the Olympic Peninsula.  He served in Army in the Korean War, and was a long-time member of the VFW in Puyallup.  Erle was a dedicated family man, never forgetting a birthday or special occasion, and he often shared stories about the family's history .  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his family and friends.  Erle was also an avid reader and loved discussing everything from politics to space exploration to history, as well as following the Mariners and the Seahawks.

He was preceded in death by his mother Hazel, father Jack, and infant sister.  He is survived by daughters Starla (Rob) and Karen and son Mike (Karen), as well as his grandchildren Jackie, Jeana, Cara, Michael, Heather, and Danyell, and numerous great-grandchildren.
