I so miss my sister Ruthe. Her death was so unexpected. I am so sad. I only have fond memories of my sister. She cared about everyone. She and my niece Lori would come to Everett on occasion and we would spend the day together going shopping here and there. Sometimes going to the Farmer's Market (when it was down at the Everett Marina). Sometimes to eat lunch either at our favorite spot in Snohomish (Cabbage Patch) or at Scuttlebutt's down at the Everett Waterfront. She never wanted to sit still. She treated me to a hot air balloon ride on my 50th birthday in Snohomish. She knew that it was on my bucket list and surprised me. Even though she suffered from motion sickness, she prepared herself and took the balloon ride in stride. I still find myself beginning to text her to tell her something that came up, only realizing that she has passed. I am heartbroken and will miss her terribly. Lori, I know how close you and your Mom were. I pray for you, and you will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers each and every day.

Ruthie was always so fun to work with. She was always there to help good and bad. I remember break and lunch times back in the day when we have the Target cafe having a lunch or break with her was the best. The stories, laughing, crying and yes even the gossiping was the best. She is going to be missed dearly and always be loved by all who knew her. Love you Ruthie

I worked with Ruthe at Target for 8 years "back in the day". Ruthe was always so kind and funny. I loved working with her! When I was diagnosed with cancer in 2003, she was among some of the Target gang that was so supportive and caring during my struggles. I will never forget Ruthe and how amazing she was with us "kids". She will definitely be missed. My prayers and condolences to her family.
