Obituary of Julie Ann Loewen

Julie Ann Loewen passed away on July 15, 2020 in her home surrounded by her beloved family, while battling an aggressive type of metastatic breast cancer.  She was 60 years old. Julie was born at Larson Airforce Base in Moses Lake, Washington on November 25, 1959 to Irene and Robert Pachkofsky.  As she was born on an air force base, she became a proud military brat that moved around the United States, living in New Jersey, Hawaii, and several locations in Washington. She graduated from Puyallup High School and attended the University of Puget Sound, where she achieved her Bachelor of Science Degree. She is survived by her mother, 3 brothers, a sister in law, 3 children, a grandson, 3 adopted by heart children, nieces/nephews, aunts/uncles and many cousins. She is predeceased by her father, grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.

Julie will be remembered by her love of music, Mount Rainer, rainbow sherbet, and many family cats. She enjoyed volunteering in the community, along with being a para educator, library assistant, and a devoted PTA member in the Puyallup School District. Some of her favorite games to play were bunco, bingo, mexican train, and morgan board. She also enjoyed scrapbooking and loved to cruise the loop downtown. She was involved in Red Hatters, NAMI, and was a member of the Sumner and Puyallup senior centers.

Julie would often say her favorite part of her life was raising her children and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all family and friends...
