Lori Slater

Obituary of Lori Slater

Born August 5, 1962 Lori Lee Slater (Frith) in Puyallup, Washington to Douglas and Lorraine Frith. On January 27, 2020 Lori returned home to join Doug and Babe again. 57 years seems too short for those left behind here without her. Lori endured numerous health issues in her life and with that in mind, we are truly blessed to have had her in our lives as long as we did. Lori was a loving sister to Kelly, Bonni and Jeri; a dedicated wife to her loving husband of 19 years, Ronald Slater; a loving mother to her son Jacob Marzano, son-in-law John Marzano and stepson Lucas Slater; and a caring auntie (as she loved to be called) to numerous nieces and nephews. She will live on through all of them as well as so many other family members and friends.

One thing everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Lori saw, was her undeniable strength. Life was not always easy for our beloved Lori. But she took everything life threw at her with a smile and never wavered. They say God only gives you what you can handle, and she was given so much. But through what she was given she always put other’s needs before her own. So as you go through life do this is remembrance of our Lori; be kind, give to others and always remember to smile.
