Obituary of Susan Nolan

Susan Rose Marie Nolan (Knox) Was born on July 13, 1959 in Fargo North Dakota. Susi lived most of her life in Puyallup Washington. She went home to be with the Lord on January 9, 2019 at University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. She is predeceased by her son Austin Kammer, her parents, Linus “Bill” Knox and Shirley Bayne, her sister Lisa Knox and her nephew Michael Knox. A loving Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, Companion and friend, Susi brought joy and laughter to everyone that she met. She will be remembered as a strong and courageous woman who never let anything get the best of her indomitable spirit. Of her many interests Susi loved dancing, quilting, boating, relaxing at the lake, card making, calligraphy, shopping and spending every minute possible with her family and friends and most recently the two newest joys in her life…her two granddaughters. Susi is survived by her Daughter: Tina Birdsong (Scott), a Sister and four Brothers: Greg Knox (Daphne), Cindy Olson (Les), Wyatt Knox (Michelle), Robbi Knox and Rory Knox (Maria), two Granddaughters: Darien Kammer and Vayda Birdsong, her Companion of 8 years: Dave Hubbard, along with many nieces and nephews and cherished friends. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Friday January 18th, 2019 at 11:00 am at Hill Funeral Home, 217 East Pioneer in Puyallup. Her final resting place will be at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup Washington.
