Obituary of Michael Sterud

Michael Harvey Sterud was born on September 15, 1958 and left to be with the Creator on October 28, 2018. He was a member of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians and was raised on the original Young family allotment on the Puyallup Reservation in Fife, Washington. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Matheson Sterud and his older brother George Brown. He leaves behind his beloved wife Laura McCloud Sterud; daughters Amber Sterud Hayward and Teshay Firethunder. He also leaves behind siblings Bill Sterud, Jeanine Allen, and twin sister Marguerite Edwards. Michael leaves behind his grandsons Dakota, Devin, Pedro, Mo, Amani and Avery. Funeral services will be held on Friday November 2nd at 10am at the Puyallup Tribal Youth Center, and burial at the Cushman Indian Cemetery.
