Obituary of Levi William Mohler

Levi William Mohler

Levi W. Mohler, 52, of Puyallup, passed away on February 25, 2024. He is missed by his friends and family. Levi was born in August of 1971 in Tacoma, WA. He lived in Puyallup, Gig Harbor and Camano Island, WA. His favorite place to live was at the family cabin on Camano Island. Levi graduated from Puyallup High School Class of 1990.

Levi was a landscaper, gardener and artist who loved to cook and work outside. He took various art classes in school and was a Cub Scout in elementary school. He never met a stranger and he liked to make people laugh. He was the goofy fun uncle to all of his nieces and nephews.

Levi was an enthusiastic person who lived life on his terms. He was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes late in life but he was determined to live his life as normal as possible even with a visual impairment that also developed late in life.

Levi is survived by his family of two sisters Suzanne (Mohler) Foster and Marianne (Mohler) Sweet; brother in law Bill Sweet; two nieces Autumn and Olivia; and two nephews Aidan and Arel. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard Mohler and Sheila (Simpson) Mohler.

Interment will be held at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 15, 2024 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Faith Covenant Church 1915 Washington Street Sumner WA 98390.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Tacoma Pierce County Fire Rescue Chaplaincy. We’re remembering the good times and in the words of our parents, Richard and Sheila, we would end our conversations and our visits with “Bye For Now.”
