Obituary of Janet Elane Hogan

Janet E. Hogan passed away peacefully on April 10, 2023 surrounded by her daughters at her home in Puyallup, WA. She was 75 years old.

She is survived by her daughter Paula (Dave) Lorenz, daughter Brenda (Bob) Jarrett, brother Darrell (Mae) Daniel, sister Judy (Vic) Eagle, 2 grandsons, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Janet is predeceased by her husband Bill Hogan of 50 years, mother Pearl Daniel (Orcutt) and father David Daniel.

Janet was born January 11, 1948 in Coquille, OR to Dave and Pearl Daniel. They moved to Sumner, WA shortly after she was born which is where she grew up and attended schools.  She married William (Bill) Hogan August 22, 1970. Bill adopted Paula & Brenda in 1975.
Janet was a stay-at-home mother to her two girls until they were in Jr. High/High School. She then went to work as an inventory specialist until she retired.

Janet was a member of the Women's Auxiliary Group at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Puyallup.  Services will be held at the Sumner Cemetery on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will be held following the service at the Edgewood Grange.
