Obituary of Gabriel Miller-Brown

Gabe Miller-Brown, 30, of Puyallup, Washington passed away on February 8, 2023.  He was born on July 18, 1992, at home in Federal Way, Washington to parents Amanda Miller and Darrin Brown. He attended 1992's Lollapalooza at three days old, which ignited his life-long love of music and mosh pits.  He walked his mom down the aisle at age six when his parents married, and was the highlight of the day.

He had many adventures with his Grandma DeVona and Grandpa Chuck, from trips to the ocean to digging up dinosaurs.  It wouldn't be Christmas without a drive over the pass to visit with extended family in the Wenatchee valley.

His first love was his dog, McKenzie, who was his queen for fourteen years.  Second in line was his princess Jill, who is a much smaller version of her predecessor, yet fills the queen's paw prints with ease. (Don't worry, Gabe, she's still getting plenty of treats.)

Forever a kid at heart, his spare time was filled with all things Metal, Movies, and Comics.  He would argue with anyone that DC was a far superior franchise.  His debating skills were top notch, and his kindness was immeasurable.  His empathy for others, especially kids and animals was never-ending.  He wanted to be a substance abuse counselor and help others like him.

For those of us he has left behind, including Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends, his impact will continue. May he never be forgotten.

A future memorial service will be planned. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to East Pierce Addiction Medicine through MultiCare Foundations at PO Box 5296, Tacoma WA 98415, or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at JDRF.org
