Obituary of Chad A. Becker

Becker, Chad A. of Puyallup Washington, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19th, 2022, at the age of 42 years.  He is survived by his son Alexander Michael Murphy and daughter Indie Ann Becker and longtime partner, Lauren Carpenter.  He is also survived by his grandson Michael Kingslee Murphy, his Father Peter Allen Becker, Mother Jean Ann Becker (nee Schutte), brother Michael Ryan Becker, and sister-in-law Amanda Lorraine Thompson Becker (nee Velasquez), beloved grandparents Leslie Ray Becker and Frances Donell Becker (nee Ronayne), loved nieces Loralei Alesa Becker, Catherine Margaret Becker, and Rory Dawn Becker.  He was loved by his many aunts and uncles Karen (David) Duren, Sandy Becker, Scott (Lori) Becker, Daniel (Tammy) Becker, and Debbie Schutte.  Chad was also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives, and many friends.  

 

Chad was the son of Peter and Jean Becker, born 8 January 1980.  Chad attended Rogers High School and finished in 1999.  He loved playing football for the Puyallup Roughriders and Rogers Rams.  Chad was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and attended several games at Lambeau Field.  Chad had many passions including snowboarding and traveling with his family.  You could always feel his warmth and love for you with his hugs and smiles.  Chad worked for Southern Wine and Spirits in the warehouse and just became shop steward for Teamsters 174.  He had so many friends that cared for and loved him.  Chad enjoyed all types of music, but especially Bob Marley.  

 

A memorial service will be held at 217 E Pioneer, Hill Funeral Home in Puyallup from 1 PM until 4 PM on January 8th, 2023.  In memory of Chad in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to his daughter's trust fund.  Please contact his father, Pete Becker, to donate.
