I'm a foreign student at Pierce College and I would like to send my warm and heart felt condolences to Mr. Chris's family. I had issues with buying my math textbook so Mr Chris would send the assignment questions to me every week via email. He was my sitting buddy and the only friend I have at Pierce College. He was always asking me to go for a cup of coffee with him. I was always busy. If only I had known. I can't believe I got to class this morning just to find out he has passed away.

Dawn and Family, I am shocked and so very saddened by Chris' passing. Even though I came from working at Flow for over 25 years, I came to OMAX and looked to Chris to help me and guide me. He taught me so much about the product line, the scheduling and everything I needed to know. He would listen to me when I was frustrated and he would make me laugh more times than I can count. He was so funny, and told me stories about how it was at OMAX when he was out on the manufacturing floor. He loved OMAX he really did, and when he decided to make his move to Boeing he still would take calls from his friends from OMAX. he would answer legacy questions on the older machines and just to listen to what was happening. He was such a caring person that could help sort out issues and could solve problems quickly. OMAX and Boeing has lost a great employee and I have lost a great friend, he is going to be missed by many. Dawn I hope that you and your Family know how much so many people are going to miss him, even through he will be gone, he will not be forgotten. Rest in Peace Chris... Dawn Drury and Family

I will echo Dawn’s sentiments as a member of the OMAX family Chris took care of. He was a great supervisor! He stood up for his guys and was always trying to make life better for us, even though we knew it made life tougher for him. He took the time to know you personally. He was just a great, cool guy. We would talk about music and concerts we had been to and other interest. He would always contact me on Veterans Day to thank me for my service even after he left OMAX. I’ll never forget him.
