Obituary of Glennys Stach

Glennys Stach, 79,  passed away peacefully in her sleep on 2-26-2022, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Puyallup, WA.  Glennys was born March 26, 1942, in Barnesville, MN.  The daughter of Julian Hanson and Clara Frederickson.  She was 1 of 7 children and a fraternal twin to Garon Hanson.  In her teenage years, the family moved to Dilworth, MN and Glennys attended Moorhead Senior High until the 10th grade.  Glennys worked as a bartender in Moorhead MN, where she met her future husband.  Glennys married Roy L. Hanson in January 1969, in Sabin, MN.  They had 1 child together, Roy A. Hanson, born in December of 1970.  She enjoyed the simple things in life like fishing for sunfish, going to yard sales, spending time with her son or enjoying a beer with family and friends.  In 2004 Glennys moved to Washington state to be closer to her son and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and in 2017, she was blessed to meet her 1st great grandchild.  Glennys is survived by her son Roy (K'arin) Hanson, four Grandchildren, Antonio Hanson, Isaiah Hanson, Brianna (Elijah) Wilson, Erika Hanson, 1 Great Grandson, Landon and her 2nd Great Grandson, Graham, which she hoped to meet, expected to arrive around her 80th birthday.  Four siblings, Elaine Welle, Donna Huesmann, Janice Hanson and Garon Hanson. She was preceded  in death by her parents, her brother Dale (Red) Hanson and sister Patricia Mjoness.  To Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma, you are loved and you will be missed.
