Obituary of Shannon M. Potter

Shannon Marie Potter, born October 5, 1980, unexpectedly passed away in her home on December 3, 2021. Shannon was an avid Seahawks fan who always found new ways to celebrate and support her team. In addition to being a loyal fan, Shannon was also a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. Shannon survived by her three daughters, godchildren, parents, siblings, and former husband. 

Shannon was a life long caregiver, dedicating her career to caring for the elderly in their final days. Shannon could also be found supporting those around her during trying times. Up until she passed, Shannon faithfully took care of her step-dad, Dee; supporting him in whatever he needed. Shannon had a unique significance to us all and can be remembered in many heartfelt ways. 

In commemoration of her life, Shannon’s children and family have organized a Celebration of Life that will be held on December 18, 2021 at 5 pm. The service and reception will be held at Hill Funeral Home on 217 E Pioneer in Puyallup. Shannon’s children ask that you wear your best Seahawks gear and bring your favorite stories of Shannon.
