I remember David with great admiration. His smile and subtle humor. His concern me, for my family and for others.
David loved God and was a faithful servant of the Lord. As an elder he served with devotion, dedication, wisdom and integrity. He was a friend and confidant. I appreciated that he prayed with me before worship and that he always had a sermon ready to go, even if I were to get sick at the last minute.
David loved his family and was extremely proud of them. Always a big smile and joyful eyes whenever he would talk about any family member.
David loved his country and honorably served, even to a great cost to his health.
I consider it a great privilege to have known David and look forward to seeing him in the age to come.
For the family, may the Lord comfort you, give you peace and bring wonderful memories to mind.
