Brenda Rae Parson

Brenda Rae (Smith) Parson was born on December 3rd 1952 in Phoenix AZ and passed away on July 25th 2021 in Puyallup WA. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Larry A. Parson; 6 children, Jeremy Parson, Janiece Brewer, Diana Parson, Christopher Parson, Tina Pogue and Heather Schiable; 12 grandchildren, Adam Parson, Colby Brewer, Brandon Parson, Julie Parson, Aubrey Brewer, Megan Parson, Wyatt Schiable, Justin Parson, Creighton Pogue, Warren Pogue, Macen Brewington and Owen Pogue; two brothers Gary and Joseph Smith and a great number of extended family and friends. She is proceeded in death by her mother Evelyn Sutton; father Maurice Smith; brother Dennis Smith and sister Freida (Debbie) Martin.

Brenda was the oldest of 5 children and helped raise her siblings; she became a nurturer early on as a result, which showed greatly in her love for her children, grandchildren, and others. She enjoyed cooking/baking, sewing, and travel, especially to the ocean. As an Army wife of over 20 years she became an experienced traveler. She loved exploring new places and creating memories. She would help anyone she could. She was a respite care provider and volunteered her time to help take care of others. Her love for others will be her greatest legacy. To know Brenda was to love her!
