Obituary of Donald Nicholas Lefor

On Friday, June 4, 2021, Don Lefor, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away at the age of 86 at home surrounded by his loved ones. Don was born on March 22,1935 in Lefor, North Dakota. He moved to Tacoma in the 1st grade.  Don attended Holy Rosary thru 8th grade and Lincoln High School. He joined the Air Force at the age of 17 years old during the Korean War.  Don was stationed in Newfoundland then Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho where he met the love of his life LouAnn (Jorgensen) they married October 5,1956.  Don worked for the Boeing Aircraft Company where he retired after 40 years. Don was an avid hunter, fisherman, woodworker (many have his wonderful birdhouses), pilot, skier, gardener (known for his tomato plants), model air plane maker, a great dancer with his wife, a member of the Eagles, and a proud American. He was blessed with 2 children Kim Nicholas (LueAnn) and Deborah Clausnitzer (Lonnie), 5 grandchildren Christian Clausnitzer (Rochelle), Rebecca Anbardan (Keavon), Nicholas Clausnitzer (Rachel), Brett Nicholas Lefor (Livia), Brooke Lefor, and 8 great grandchildren Colten Clausnitzer, Ellianna Anbardan, Easton Nicholas Clausnitzer, Delaney Anbardan, Hailey Clausnitzer, Adalynn Lefor, Kayson Anbardan, and Grayson Nicholas Lefor. Don loved his family very much. He never missed a motorcycle race, dance recital, soccer game, car race, the 1st hunt of his grandchildren, birthday parties, graduations, religious ceremonies and weddings. Don is preceded in death by his father Dana Lefor and mother Johanna (Wollman) Dreis.  He is survived by wife LouAnn, children Kim (LueAnn) and Deborah (Lonnie), grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters Rosemarie (Nels) and Doris (Mike), nieces, nephews, and many friends. 

Funeral Service will be at All Saints in Puyallup June 29th at 11am.  Burial will be at the Tahoma National Cemetery June 30th at 12:30pm.  Please share memories & condolences at www.hillfhpuyallup.com
