Stan Moe was the best teacher i ever had thru all my education . He always said i would make a great preacher call i was so loud. I still remember everything from Geometry class still today. Side angle Side and Angle Side Angle. Certainly not just teaching but being a true Mentor. What a great teacher and great man he will always be a great memory of my youth. Im better to have had him teach me as a kid and grateful for knowing him. My prayers are with his family.

A long time family friend as we attended the same church for many years. Mr. Moe was so faithful in everthing he commited to. His life set an example for all of us as we grew up. As a matter of fact the one and only babysitter I would hire at 12 years of age and feel complete confidence in was his daughter, Mari-Esther, who was mature and dependable in every way. So many of us learned from his examples of truth, grace and faithfullness to the things he felt were important. Thank you for sharing Stan's life with me and my family. Sincerely, Linda (McMillen) Hall

Mr. Moe was my high school geometry teacher in 1966, and even though I was a "tried hard and barely passed" math student, he never gave up on me! After my retirement in 2009, I began volunteering at St. Francis House where I was delighted to find Mr. Moe doing the same. I will always remember him for going beyond what was expected, his legendary work ethic and that great sense of humor. Thank you Mr. Moe and RIP, you earned it.

The obit got it right, Mr. Moe was a great man, educator, and Viking! I was one of those who found geometry, not an easy subject! It didn't hurt that I sat next to his daughter and classmate, MariEsther ‘79! His dry and funny sense of humor made hIs teaching work! A supporter of the Arts and Athletics, he, along with Mr. Graham, allowed me to alternate days and periods to take Stage and Chamber Band while completing the math requirement. They don't make educators like Stan Moe anymore - Mr. Moe and others from his era made one ‘Proud to be Viking!’

Mr. Moe was my Algebra teacher back in the late 60's at Puyallup High. I remember him as a very competent and kind man.
RIP Mr Moe

We lived just a few houses from the Moe family. Stan was a lovely kind man. After my father died my mother remained in her house for a few years. There were a number of times when Stan came over to cut her grass because he was that kind of man. The world is always a little less beautiful when a good person leaves.
