Obituary of Randy R. Fisler

Randy went to be with the Lord on April 19, 2021 after a 2 year battle with lung cancer.  Randy is now doing all those things he loved in life on earth.  After losing his biological father to a work accident at the age of 6, he then grew up in California and South Dakota with his mother and step father.  He was an avid reader of history and biographies and carried his kindle everywhere.  He loved to fish, was a fantastic cook and took amazing photos on the many road trips he and his wife Debbi enjoyed together.  Randy was an introvert but loved to tell jokes that made others smile.  He served in the Army and achieved the rank of sergeant before deciding to stay home to be with his children from his first marriage. He worked driving trucks for various companies before moving to California to work and become an expert  in a Honda repair shop with his second wife Linda who passed away in 2000.  At that time Randy was living in Washington State.  Randy and Debbi met in 2002 and were married 18 years.  During those years Randy worked for Service Steel Aerospace until a heart attack caused him to take early retirement. He then spent his days with Zeke, the bull terrier and his evenings with Debbi. The 3 of them made many wonderful memories on road trips with Randy happily photographing all the beautiful scenery.

Randy is survived by his wife Debra Larkin Fisler, parents Tom and Margaret Engler, brothers Rick Fisler, Stephen Engler and James Engler.  Randy had 3 biological children and 4 step-children and called them all his own children.  (Gabriel Fisler, Heather Fisler Lloyd, Christina Fisler Garcia, Mikael Mitcheom, Grace Bettencourt, Cory Wilsey and Amanda Parry)  He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
