Jason was my fourth child. He has a older brother, two older sisters and a younger brother. He was a person who did not see race or judge how others lived. He was kind. His world consisted of work and family. And he was very eager to have young people and others join a union for their working careers. He was right to the point when talking. He passed way to soon but we do not have the ability to out think God.Nor should we.Jason knew the Lord so we know where he is and will be with him in time. Jason lived all his life in east Tacoma and loved it. He is very missed by all of us. Jason`s mom Merry.

The world is sure more dull without Jason in it. So many adventures I’ve shared with my brother. As kids he loved to play in the Woods by our house. We would plan for hours. Making forts. Catching frogs we would have camp fires going. Swimming in the summer at the lakes around was a almost daily event. He loved his Rambo survival knife and took it everywhere. He was the most non judge mental person I’ve ever known. And I miss him completely

Jason you always was a wonderful cousin. As the saying goes blood is thicker then water, we might not be blood relatives, but was raised as family. Our moms go way back, to when we were born. When my aunt called and said you were gone, I cried my self to sleep and am crying as I write this. I miss you so much already and will always love you. I'm so glad for all the pictures of you over the years.May you rest in peace and no longer be in pain. Love and miss you always Cousin Merry

I didn't know Jason personally at all. But I've known his mother Merry for at least 30 years. Thru her and her friendship with my mom I came to know of all the Hancock kids, grands and greats. Jason sounds very much like his kind and generous mother! My heart hurts for you all at this most difficult of times! My condolences and prayers to you all as you lay your beloved young man to rest. Go with God Jason.

Perfectly written by mom and Jennaca, two women that love Jason greatly. He would listen intently and try hard to understand what or where one was coming from. He would encourage and find the good. Such a giving heart he has. One memory is when Jason bought nieces and nephews hoodies from the van store for Christmas. You’ll always be that little rugged boy to me.

One of the great and hilarious memories is to see him fly down McKinley or side roads on that motorcycle.
