Obituary of Judith Anne Alia

Judith Anne Alia began her eternal life with Jesus Sunday, August 23, 2020 at the age of 76.  Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.  She began her life on earth October 7, 1943.  She married Anthony Joseph Alia Sr.  August 19, 1961 and raised four children, Cinthia Mitchell, Shelly Alia, Michele Alia and Anthony Alia Jr.  She also had four grandchildren, Mckayla Medley, Madelyn Medley, Sierra Mitchell and Kennedy Aberegg.

Judy loved and cherished her family.  Family and her strong faith was the primary focus of her life.  She was a great mother and parented her children with love, support and consistency.  While growing up Judy was the “cool mom” in the neighborhood.  In fact her house was the place where all the kid’s wanted to hang out.  She always played outside with the kids, led outings to the park, helped with paper routes, and was the loudest parent at the softball, volley ball and soccer games.   She was every kid’s mom.

Judy loved to laugh, sing, and dance.  She could dance a mean jitter-bug.  Every holiday, campout, wedding, etc.  Judy had everyone up dancing and singing.

Judy’s gift was her dedication to family and her affection and connection with children. When her own children were grown she went back to school and received a Master Degree in Education.  She taught special education for almost 30 years. The unconditional love she modeled for her own children was then given to the many children she influenced and inspired throughout her career as a teacher.

Judy was a strong, tenacious, determined, faithful and loving person.  Although we will miss her very much, her spirit will live on through her children, her family and all the people she inspired during her life on earth.  God bless you and hold you in his loving arms.  We love you Mom! You will always live in our hearts and minds.
