Obituary of Ashley Okert
Ashley was born on 7/26/2017 in Tacoma, WA and received her wings on 7/16/2020 in Tacoma, WA surrounded by family and friends. Ashley bravely fought cancer for over six months and was a fighter until the very end. Throughout this time Ashley’s contagious smile still showed through and she brightened the lives of everyone she met. Her favorite activities were playing with her sister, playing with her favorite toys, watching Frozen 1 & 2, Toy Story 3, Shrek and any dog or cat movies she could find. Ashley was an adventurous girl who loved to play outside with her family. Ashley was a born entertainer who also had a passion for singing and dancing to her favorite songs. She also had a love for listening to drumming, songs and attending Pow-Wows.
