Ed Benton, Class of 50 , Puyallup High school.
I am Harold Rohlman, also a member the Class of 50 and an old friend of ED''s.
I remember him as a quiet, friendly student, a truly nice guy without an enemy in the world
and respected by all.
In June of 1950 we graduated from high school together, soon to enlist in the US Navy and go our separate ways.
I never saw Ed again, as I moved quite often, eventually ending up in Alaska.
His mother, as was Ed, was an extremely nice person and I remember that they were "corsage makers"
for all the high school proms and important dances and events, real saviors to all the young men needing expert help with flowers.
My wife Helen Heil, also graduate of Puyallup High and I, , wish to extend to the family our sincere sympathy
for their loss.

Dear Rob and Wendy, and family,
While I never met Edwin personally, I have heard nothing but glowing accolades from Wendy about her in-laws. Sending Nancy special prayers of comfort as she mourns the loss of her beloved friend and spouse. Sending kids and grand kids the peace that only God can provide for sad hearts. What joy for Edwin to be with Jesus. What peace to know that He is in his eternal home, and that you will all be together again one day. I pray that each of your hearts is full of long lasting, special and unique memories of your time with your husband, dad, grandfather, etc. My prayers are with you all.
