Obituary of Margaret Lou Berry

Margaret Lou Berry (Maggie), 88, passed away on December 31, 2019 in Puyallup, WA.

Maggie was born on February 7, 1931 in Miles City, Montana to Burtran and Mabel Ennis. She grew up in Montana and graduated from Billings Senior High school in 1949.  After leaving Montana in 1974 she settled in Washington State, continuing her career with the Federal Government working at McNeil Island Penitentiary and concluding her career with the US Army Corps of Engineers at Fort Lewis WA before retiring after 35 years of government service. 

Maggie loved many things in life including going to the movies, the Academy Awards, shopping, reading, cooking, gardening, the Seahawks, and spending time with her friends, family and pets. She would frequently talk about her first dog Skippy that she got in 1946.

Maggie had a deep love for her family and dearest friends, and always cherished the time they spent together. She is survived by her four boys Kevin (Cheryl) Davis of Billings, MT, Ford (Jennie) Davis of Sheridan, MT, Rex (Marietta) Andreasen, of Buckley, WA, Chad Andreasen (Lisa Meacham) of Buckley, WA, fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She also leaves behind her dearest friends, Tom and Carmen Matthews, Lou and Minnie Bain, Karan Baber, and Linda White all of whom she shared many glorious years. Maggie will also be missed by her three beloved “grand dogs”, Bella, Gus, and Sissy, that she loved and cared for daily.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Alice, Jack and Gene, daughters Allyson and Robin, grandson Christopher and dearest friend Mary Fuller who are all waiting to greet her and share more stories.

Maggie touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all those that were blessed to know and love her.

Celebration of Maggie’s life will be held at the Hill Funeral Home, Puyallup, WA on May 2, 2020.
