Obituary of Richard Philip

Richard “Rick” William Philip (age 71)

Rick was born July 17, 1948 in San Francisco, California and called to Jesus surrounded by his family in Puyallup, Washington on Sunday, October 27, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda Philip; sisters Sharon Zoerb, Charleen Richeson (Larry); brothers Darryl Hawkins, Don Hawkins, Dan Hawkins; daughter Krista Loper (Joe); son Jamie Philip (Cassie); 5 grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Richard Philip, mother Ruth Hawkins, stepfather Cal Hawkins and sister Mary Long. He was known for his spunky sense of humor, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. He was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 at Thr3e Coffee Shop located at 202 7th St SW, Puyallup, WA 98371.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, November 4th, 2019 at 11:00 am at Tahoma National Cemetery located at 18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98042.
