A lifelong resident of Puyallup Washington for 79 years. Wanda, age 103 , completed her journey on earth Tuesday, September 24, 2019.

Born Aug 22, 1916 in Loveland Oklahoma to parents George and Maggie Ennis. She was the oldest of four children. Moving to Washington in 1940, with husband Homer Cook and children Marlene and Gwen. Daughter Cheryl born later in Washington.

They resided on a farm in Puyallup Valley, growing huge gardens and sharing with family and neighbors. Wanda was a homemaker, loved it best outside gardening, of which she did up until 95 years of age. In earlier years she did a lot of home canning, baking and sewing.

A common thread that most remember Wanda as being  , soft spoken, kind, honest, loving, generous, sweet, and caring. The list goes on.  Always happy and always smiling. Her biggest love was her family. Hers and Homers legacy extends to 47 descendants. Her 103 years equates to, 3 children, 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren .

She is preceded in death by her husband Homer of 60 years, parents and her two brothers. All of her combined grandchildren (44) all residing in Washington and California. A Sister, Laverta (Charley) Burns of Pueblo Colorado. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Although we are sad to see her go and will miss her terribly, we are also so glad that the angels have shown her the way home to her family anxiously awaiting for her arrival.
