Obituary of Robert Donald Kimbler

Robert (Bob) Donald Kimbler. Born in Tacoma, WA on July 16, 1975 and left this world too soon on July 5, 2019 in his home. Robert spent many years as a Fugitive Recovery Agent, Corrections Officer, Dispatcher, Tow Truck Driver and a Supervisor in Security for Olympic Security Solutions. While working Security Robert developed relationships with local organizations, businesses and churches as well as the Tacoma Police Department. Robert was able to be very involved in his work and do what he loved. Robert developed many friendships along the way. Robert never wanted to be the life of the party, but he was ever-present. While he hated to be the center of attention, his kindness, generosity, and capacity for giving always brought the focus back to him. Robert had one main love and priority in his life and that was his son Ben. Ben gave Robert purpose and drive to be the best he could in all he did. Robert insured that Ben had plenty of “aunts and uncles” and instilled in Ben, the value of friendship, sharing, and modesty. Robert is joining his mother Hope and sister Cindy in Heaven. Survived by his son Benjamin (Ben) who is only 13 years old, his biological father Donald of Aberdeen, his stepfather Mark of Puyallup, sisters Jennifer, Sher’re, Joni and his special friend Janelle. Robert will be missed by his many close friends who were like his family A Celebration of Life is planned in his honor at 2 PM on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at his home - 11615 34th Ave. E. Tacoma, WA 98446.
