Obituary of Steven Vuleta

Steven Vuleta Our Dad wanted to be remembered as someone who loved his family more than anything, and as someone who always did his best in everything. He was a God-fearing man who prayed often. He touched many lives and accomplished much, but was very guarded and not prone to boast. He was extremely generous throughout his entire life, to friends, family, and even strangers. He served for over 20 years in the United States Army (Infantry branch), including tours of combat service during the Vietnam War, rising to the rank of Sergeant Major at the apex of his career. Dad will be terribly missed, but he would hope that we all celebrate his life and how he lived at least twice as much as we mourn his passing. He lived well and is survived by his wife, Yon; three children, Tamara, Andrea, and Steven; five grandchildren, Nora, Lisa, Sophia, Evelina and Violet; and one great-grandchild, Turner. His funeral will be held at 11am on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Covington, Washington.
