Obituary of Beverly Bostwick

Beverly Jean Bostwick May 20, 1936 – October 19, 2018 Beverly Jean Bostwick passed away surrounded by family on Friday, October 19, 2018 in Puyallup, WA at the age of 82. Born on May 20, 1936, to Roy and Ora Nelson in Tacoma, WA, Beverly was a life long resident of Pierce County and graduated from Puyallup High School in 1954. Beverly retired as a staff member of All Saints Catholic School, where she cherished many close friendships and took great pride in keeping the school exceptionally shiny for her beloved students and teachers. Her presence will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. A devoted Catholic, Beverly lived her faith through action with a huge heart for serving others. She dedicated many years to preparing and serving hot meals with love and dignity to those struggling with homelessness at the National Guard Armory in Puyallup. She took Holy Communion to the sick and homebound. She regularly delivered meals to families in need, always giving them more than she had. With her pickup she delivered many donated appliances to rural families. Year after year, she never missed sending birthday checks to her children and grandchildren. Donations always went to any child raising funds for anything. Beverly will be forever and lovingly remembered by her sister and brothers, Trudy Prevost (Ronald), Roy Nelson (Lora), Charles Nelson (Pam), Dan Nelson (Becky), by her five children, Jacob Bostwick (Patti), Frances Bostwick, Mitchell Bostwick (Robin), Jill Neumeister (Vaughn), Pete Bostwick and by her precious grandchildren, Valerie Burns, Jesse Herron, Jason Neumeister, Alyssa Bostwick, Ashley Bostwick, Ralph Cameron, James Neumeister, Gabe Bostwick, Tony Bostwick, Dominique Bostwick, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, multitudes of nieces, nephews, extended family, close friends and by her dear friend Doug Howard. Beverly was predeceased by her brother Michael Nelson and her grandson Nicholas Cameron. Rosary will be held at 10:15 am at All Saints Catholic Church in Puyallup with Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 17th. A reception will follow immediately after the service in the Parish Hall (across the street). All are welcome to join. Interment will be held at Woodbine Cemetery at 10am on Monday, November 19th.
