Obituary of Fernand Breault

Fernand Joseph Breault (81), died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, April 25th, 2018, in Sumner, WA. Fern is survived by his wife, Theres Hospenthal-Breault of Puyallup, WA. His sister (Jeannine) and his three brothers (Marcel, Richard and Maurice), all of Pittsfield, MA. His five children: Debra (Lon) Snope of Buckley, WA; Christine Peloli of Puyallup, WA; Dave (Megan) Breault of Buckley, WA; Darren (Jennifer) Breault of Buckley, WA; and Anjanette Breault of Graham, WA. His two step-children: Alice (Tim) Pierce of Graham, WA; and Roland (Shannon) Hospenthal of Puyallup, WA. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Raoul Breault (08/07/1904 - 05/31/1947); his mother Angeline LeClerc Breault (03/11/1905 - 03/04/1998); his five brothers, Donald (1928), Raymond (1962), Bernard (1981), Norman (1992) Jerome (1998), and sister Jacqueline (2018), all of Pittsfield, MA; and his step-son Karl (2014). Fern was born on December 14, 1936, in Pittsfield, MA. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1955. He then enrolled in the United States Navy where he served three years. In 1960, he moved to Seattle, WA, and accepted a position at The Boeing Company, where he worked for more than 35 years. Fern was a great family man and a loving father. He was very actively involved in the Lions Club, the Swiss Park, the Swiss Sportsman’s Club / Men’s Choir, and he was also very involved in both of his parishes (St. Andrews Catholic Church of Sumner, WA & Holy Disciples Catholic Church of Puyallup, WA). A Celebration of Life Mass is scheduled for Friday, May 11th at 11:00 am, with a reception to follow. Both the celebration and the reception will be held at the Holy Disciples Catholic Church in Puyallup, WA (10425 187th St E, Puyallup, WA 98374). All are welcome to attend the celebration Fern’s life and the reception. In lieu of flowers, any donations received will be forwarded to the Swiss Kids Camp at The Swiss Park in Bonney Lake in his name.
