James (Jim) William Sargent Jr. passed away on May 3, 2021 at the age of 69. He was born in Bremerton, WA to Bill and Elda Sargent. He graduated from North Mason High School and Bates Vocational Technical Institute in Computer Programming. He was a longtime resident of Puyallup, WA. Jim worked in IT departments at The Kirk Company, Atlas Foundry, and Oak Harbor Freight Lines.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Julie, three beautiful daughters, Jaime Edwards of Puyallup, Jennifer Sousley of Cashmere, WA., and Jody(Chris)Lee, of Brookings, OR. He was blessed with four granddaughters, Elysia, Camryn, Natalie, Makayla, and four grandsons, Connor, Brennen, Spencer, and Aiden. Jim is survived by his sister, Darlene, of Kingston WA.
Jim will always be remembered for his contagious smile, quick wit, and sense of humor. Jim was never without a quick-witted comeback and used his sense of humor to make others feel good and put a smile on their face. Jim had such a love for his family that was evident in the legacy he has left behind. Jim loved to watch his daughters play sports and grandkids too when he could. He loved to go camping and spend time out on Hood Canal when ever possible. It was very much his happy place! Jim had fond memories of clam digging and oyster shucking that never eluded him, he always had a story! Jim will be missed tremendously by all his friends and family.
A memorial service and Celebration of Jim's Life will be held at a later date and will be announced shortly.
