LOYCE FAYE (MORGAN) MATHEWS HAS JOINED HER HUSBAND.

SHE PASSED AWAY AT 93 YRS OLD ON SEPTEMBER 28, 2019 AT THE LIFE CENTER OF SOUTH HILL WHERE SHE WAS CARED FOR BY A WONDERFUL AND LOVING STAFF ALONG WITH LARRY AND RONDA KNAPP OF PUYALLUP

 

LOYCE AND HER TWIN SISTER JOYCE WERE BORN ON APRIL 10, 1926 IN GRADY, OKLAHOMA TO JACK AND GLADYS MORGAN.

 

SHE WAS PRECEEDED IN DEATH BY HER PARENTS, HUSBAND JAY OF 51 YEARS, BROTHER WELDON MORGAN, AND TWIN SISTER JOYCE MORGAN TRIPP.

 

SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER FOUR NIECES: SANDRA OF WELLSTON, OK, SHARON OF YORK NEBRASKA, SYLVIA OF WELLSTON, OK AND STEPHANIE OF BLANCHARD, OK, AND MANY OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS.

 

HER WORKING CAREER CONSISTED OF: ARDMORE AIRBASE STRAIGHT OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL WHERE SHE MET HER WWII SOLDIER, MOVED TO WASHINGTON IN 1946 AND HAD A 32 YRS CAREER AS A SECRETARY IN THE SUMNER SCHOOL DISTRICT.

 

SHE WAS A 64 YEAR MEMBER OF GUIDING STAR CHAPTER ORDER OF THE EASTERN STAR IN SUMNER, WASHINGTON.

 

SHE DANCED THROUGH LIFE IN AND OUT OF BALLROOMS IN THE TACOMA/SEATTLE AREA WITH THE LOVE OF HER LIFE.

 

SHE SPENT HER RETIREMENT YEARS TRAVELING AND CRUISING THE WORLD OVER.  

 

A FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2019 AT 12:30 AT THE HILL FUNERAL HOME IN PUYALLUP, WA. A RECEPTION WILL FOLLOW AS WELL AS A BURIAL AT 2:30 AT SUMNER CEMETERY. ALL FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE WELCOME
